Wigan Council along with partners will be running a Holiday Activity and Food programme during the Easter holidays.
This programme is targeted at providing children and young people with the opportunity to engage in some enriching activities and have at least one healthy meal per day.
This year, more than ever, due to the restrictions that have been in place in relation to the Covid 19 pandemic, is important that we run this programme to ensure that we are in touch with our children and young people during the half term breaks.
We will be delivering a robust programme supported a number of partners and in order for us to deliver this critical programme we need your support.
We are working very closely with colleagues in the Health Protection Team to ensure that all social distancing and health and safety guidance is followed.
We need help in relation to a collect and delivery of packed lunches.
The camps are running across the Borough on the following date 6th April – 9th April and 12th April – 15th April, the lunches are to be collected from schools within the borough at 11:15 each day and taken to a holiday camp, we will confirm the details of where to collect the lunches from and the camp you will deliver to when you get in touch.
